SUR – Press release
British company Quantexa, dedicated to developing data, analytics, and AI software and a pioneer in "decision intelligence," today inaugurated its new office in Malaga, marking "a new stage in the company's continued European expansion and its investment in innovation in AI, data, and analytics," according to company spokespeople. The firm currently has 52 employees at its Malaga facilities, a figure that represents "significant growth, considering we started with just one employee in Malaga almost four years ago," they stated.
“We intend to continue expanding our presence in the region as part of our long-term commitment to Malaga and its growing technology ecosystem,” they added.
Quantexa has become the first company to set up shop in Node I, the new innovation center developed by Kadans Science Partner at the PTA (Andalusia Technology Park). This move follows Quantexa's decision four years ago to choose Malaga as the location for its Technology and Analytics Center, after a thorough evaluation of 21 European countries.
Created to offer research and development capabilities, as well as professional services to support the implementation of Quantexa's Decision Intelligence Platform by customers across continental Europe, the Malaga center reflects "the evolution of the company's initial investment in the city and Quantexa's continued growth," according to its managers.
With a growing focus on AI
“Four years ago, we chose Málaga after an exhaustive search across Europe, as we saw an exceptional combination of talent, academic rigor, technological expertise, and ambition,” says Flabio Costa, regional head of the Quantexa center. “That decision has provided us with a solid foundation for growth. The investment in this new innovation center represents the next stage of that journey: creating an environment where our team can push the boundaries of AI and Decision Intelligence, and collaborate even more closely with clients and partners to continue developing world-class technology from Málaga for organizations across Europe and the rest of the world,” he explains.
“Málaga has developed an impressive technology ecosystem and talent pool. Our new location offers us much more than just an office: it places our teams at the heart of a community focused on AI and other advanced technologies, where we can exchange ideas, build new relationships, and accelerate innovation,” says Costa. “As Quantexa continues to grow in Europe, Málaga will play a vital role in helping us attract exceptional talent, collaborate more closely with our customers and partners, and drive the next generation of AI-powered Decision Intelligence,” he adds.
