Following the success of the British Investment in Spain Committee and the British Chamber's strategic work in areas such as Brexit, a new need arose among our member companies: to strengthen support for innovation as a lever for competitiveness, attract investment, and strengthen relations between Spain and the United Kingdom.
The Innovation Committee was created, an initiative that brings together British and Spanish companies that are leaders in their sectors due to their innovative approach. This space promotes public-private and international collaboration to accelerate disruptive solutions, preserve companies' competitive advantage, and generate a real impact on the economy and society.
Spain and the United Kingdom share a close tradition of scientific and technological cooperation. The Committee aims to consolidate and expand this bond in the post-Brexit era, ensuring that innovation remains a key bridge between the two countries.
