Leadership and commitment to serving our business community

The Board of Governors leads the strategy and growth of the British Chamber. It is made up of a maximum of 15 executives from large and small member companies of the organization.

It holds quarterly meetings and is elected by member companies every two years at the Annual General Meeting. The current president was elected in March 2026.

Responsibilities of the Governing Council

The Governing Council is responsible for overseeing management, promoting the organization's development, and representing the interests of its members. Its work is supported by regional committees in Madrid, Barcelona, and Malaga.

The main responsabilities of the Governing Council are:

  • Develop and participate in the execution of the Strategic Plan for the growth and development of the organization.
  • Actively promote the British Chamber to attract new partners.
  • Represent the interests of the Chamber's members.
  • Support the President, Vice President and Director in terms of strategy and day-to-day business affairs British Chamber.
  • Assume responsibility with regional subcommittees.
  • Provide voluntary expertise and resources to support the activities of the British Chamber.
  • Count on the support of your company, time, availability, and ad-hoc resources.
