Two internationally trained musical theatre artists take to the stage at Madrid For Refugees for an intimate, live show.
Diego and Lalo met during their Master's degree in Musical Theatre at TAI University of the Arts. Together they have created a repertoire ranging from pop classics and musicals (Hamilton & Juliet, Mark Ronson, Kanka) to original compositions with roots in Peru and Mexico. They have been performing for over 10 years in Spain, Mexico, and Latin America. This May 22nd, the Madrid For Refugees stage will be theirs.
Part of the profits goes to Madrid For Refugees, a non-profit organization supporting refugees and migrants in Madrid through cultural programming, training and community.
The funds raised help support Madrid For Refugees' community activities, which include classes, workshops and training for refugees (Digital Literacy, Languages, Programming, Employment), donations of essential items, awareness initiatives, social intervention and a refugee support network with partner organizations.
