A&O Shearman successfully completes its merger

· The merger between Allen & Overy and Shearman & Sterling creates the first truly global elite firm and the only one capable of advising on English and American law in equal measure, as well as on the rest of the world's most relevant markets.

Madrid, London and New York - A&O Shearman successfully completes the merger between the British firm Allen & Overy and the American Shearman & SterlingThis resulted in the first truly global elite firm and the third largest in the world by revenue, with combined income of $3.500 billion.
