Historically, the United Kingdom has been one of the most committed investors here in Spain. The previous ninth edition of our Barometer on Climate and Outlook for British Investment in Spain showed that the UK has invested more than 60,000 million euros in the last thirty years. These figures placed it in the global second position, only behind the USA. In this upcoming tenth edition, we will explore how British Investment has changed since Britain’s exit from the European Union and if bilateral relations, at an economic and business level, will continue as they have until now.

Despite the adverse climate, the UK and Spanish economies have been surprisingly strong. Within the eurozone, Spain has spearheaded growth, outperforming the expectations held at the start of the year, posting annual growth of 3.4% in the first half of 2025.

On the 28th January, we will learn the details on the latest data on British Investment in Spain, the jobs created and the sectors in which British companies are investing.

On behalf of Derek A. Langley, Regional Vice President of the British Chamber of Commerce, we would be delighted to welcome you to this very important annual event, where you will meet fellow Chamber members and new business contacts, giving you the opportunity to expand your professional network at this very interesting forum.
