• On Thursday, 30th April, the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain was delighted to host its Andalucía Business Networking Breakfast in collaboration with Nockolds Lawyers Spain, at the iconic La Sala venue in Puerto Banús, bringing together an excellent turnout of members and guests for a morning of networking in a vibrant and welcoming setting.

The event offered attendees a valuable opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and establish new business relationships over a delightful breakfast, reflecting the continued engagement and momentum of the British-Spanish business community across Andalucía, particularly in the Costa del Sol and Málaga regions.

The morning began with opening remarks from Derek A. Langley, Regional Vice-President, who welcomed guests and shared an overview of the Chamber’s upcoming programme of events, alongside recent activities, successes, and key priorities for the year ahead. Attendees were also provided with insights into the regional business landscape and the continued importance of British investment in Spain.

This was followed by remarks from Darren Hayward, Director of Nockolds Lawyers Spain and Managing Partner of Nockolds Solicitors in the UK. Darren introduced guests to the firm’s distinguished heritage, a subsidiary of Nockolds Solicitors, founded in 1831, and its multi-disciplinary approach to cross-border legal matters between Spain and the UK. With over a decade of experience and an office in Estepona, Nockolds Lawyers Spain serves an international clientele, supported by a dedicated team of legal experts registered in both jurisdictions.

Following the presentations, the event transitioned into a lively networking session, with guests taking full advantage of the relaxed breakfast setting to exchange ideas, strengthen existing relationships, and forge new business connections throughout the morning.
