We are excited to announce the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain´s next webinar in collaboration with HSBC, COVID-19 Phase Two: Economic outlook for Spain and Europe. We will hear from Fabio Balboni, a senior European Economist at HSBC who specialises in formulating forecasts for Southern Europe. He will give his perspective on the future of the markets in Spain and Europe, and how their recovery might look.
Fabio Balboni, Senior European Economist
Before joining HSBC in August 2014, Fabio worked at HM Treasury, where he held a number of roles including Senior Economist responsible for Greece and Cyprus during the eurozone crisis, and more recently head of the unit responsible for the analysis of the UK fiscal forecast. He’s regularly cited in the international press and newswires. He previously worked at the European Commission in Brussels. Fabio holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Law and Economics from the University of Bologna.

We have also taken the opportunity to sponsor various successful Chamber events and increase our brand visibility, as well as speaking to many decision makers in business and government. Hays has now joined the British Chamber in nearly all of the 33 countries from which we operate. The cost of annual corporate membership is a lot lower than a single advert in most media and in my opinion we get a tremendous return on investment. Apart from which, I enjoy it!
