Webinar | Investment opportunities in Northern Ireland in the post EU-Exit context

Northern Ireland is a region that has been enjoying new attention from across the global investment community for some time, offering outstanding rates of return underpinned by a healthy business ecosystem and a standard of living considered one of the best in the world.
The region also has a long history of resilience, weathering social and economic upheaval with grit and determination.
That experience has left Northern Ireland primed to face the current challenges of coronavirus and Brexit head on and the region is once again building on its pre-COVID success and plotting a path for further growth and prosperity. Major publicly funded initiatives, which include the £850m Belfast Region City Deal, the recently announced Derry-Londonderry & Strabane Regional Deal (£250m) and Weavers Cross, are reviving the city’s unique attractiveness in 2021 and the decade ahead.
This session will present Northern Ireland as an attractive place to live, work and visit. It will give an overview of the region’s key traditional and current sectors and outline its top advantages including access to talent, business friendly environment and cost competitiveness, as well as the unique opportunity that is now offered by Brexit. It will provide examples of the vibrancy and opportunity that exists in Belfast today, strategic investment opportunities, such as Weaver’s Cross, plus input from the experience of key stakeholders and investors.
