Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI) is the economic development agency for this part of the United Kingdom and its role is to grow the region’s economy. As part of this remit the organisation helps existing businesses to trade internationally and attracts new international investors to the area.
Northern Ireland attracts global companies because of its blend of an exceptionally skilled workforce with a strong work ethic combined with the region’s competitive operating costs. These are complimented by a favourable macro-environment, sophisticated infrastructure and existing cluster of synergistic businesses. Recently Northern Ireland’s capital city, Belfast, has emerged as a location of choice for US cyber security investment and the region has an established reputation for fintech development with both local and international companies operating there.
Northern Ireland offers inward investors one of the most attractive support packages available in Europe, tailor made for each individual investment project.
