Contasult was incorporated in Algeciras, Cádiz, on January, 23th, 1997 by Patricia Larrain Alba, Chartered Accountant and former financial director of Spain´s NGO. Raised in Madrid, USA and the UK, bilingual and educated in an international environment, she identified the need for professional, reliable advice and consultancy services in English, within the British entrepreneurs and investors in Spain, especially in the strait of Gibraltar, Cádiz.
Contasultwas the first company in the Strait of Gibraltar to offer legal, tax, accounting and labour advice to UK companies’ resident in Spain and non-residents with investments in Spain, in their native language, with bilingual professionals in all areas and knowledge of both jurisdictions, making the consolidation of the mother company and subsidiary company accounts easier to design, quote and fulfilling all compliance requirements.
Technology and digitalization of our services, reducing the need of personal meetings, are responsible for the growth of our geographical reach.
In 2003 we opened our second office in Sotogrande, Cádiz. One the most luxurious sites in Europe. In 2019 we opened our office in Madrid, In 2020 we opened our offices in the North of Spain, Basque Country.
Actually Contasult has grown to be a team of 25 professionals.
