Spain is enjoying the strongest recovery of the four largest economies in the euro zone, hitting its highest growth rate in eight years in 2015. Although this economic success survived the protracted political crisis that was finally resolved at the end of October, attention has turned to the sustainability of growth in the longer term. Spain’s innovative businesses have the potential to be at the heart of this growth model.
Although the economic success in Spain appeared impervious to the protracted political crisis that finally reached its conclusion at the end of October, attention has turned to the sustainability of growth in the longer term.
The Spain Summit: The innovation economy will look at the major disruptive global business and technology trends that will shape the economic and business climate in the year ahead. At a time of great transformation, The Economist Events’ Spain Summit will gather the country’s business and thought leaders, innovators, analysts and academics to chart Spain’s course through the rise of the gig economy and the boom in global entrepreneurship, digital transformation and the modernisation of the workplace.
