Londres | Holding Up the Mirror: UK-Spain cultural relations in the light of Brexit

Following the success last year of the inaugural ‘Holding Up The Mirror’ conference examining different aspects of UK-Spain bilateral cultural relations, we return with a distinguished panel of British and Spanish experts. On this occasion we will discuss how UK culture and society is emerging in the eyes of Spaniards as well as Brits in light of Brexit, and in what direction relations between the two countries and wider Hispanic world are headed.
With Chris Bryant MP, John Carlin (El País), Rafael Minder (New York Times), Dr Estrella Luna (Sheffield University) and Giles Paxman, former UK Ambassador to Spain and Mexico, among others.
This event will be chaired by Jimmy Burns, Chairman of the British Spanish Society;
