Our representing organisation COBCOE (Council
of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe) has recently signed a Memorandum
of Understanding with the governments international business development
department UKTI (UK Trade and Investment). This now means that COBCOE is
officially a strategic partner of UKTI which will undoubtedly lead to an increased relationship
between them, and therefore the BCCS, and the government. This agreement signifies an important opportunity for COBCOE and therefore for all the European Chambers, it will help strengthen relationships between local and diplomatic posts and will mean a step further in to working closely with UKTI in relation to services we can provide for businesses everywhere. We hope this change will bring great opportunities and will encourage a close relationship between our work and the government. |
