• To provide leadership, management and support to the “National Director” and Chamber staff.
• To be the BCCS Ambassador when dealing with senior decision makers, political leaders and press

• To work closely with and support the National Director and local office for relevant issues.
• To be the BCCS representative when dealing with senior decision makers and political leaders aimed at raising profile of the Chamber.
• To support the President in the implementation of Chamber strategy.

Purpose

Key Deliverables

• To “chair” the regional committee (formed of members of the GC and any members co-opted regionally).
• To assist the national P / VP to represent the Chamber on a regional basis.
• To ensure the implantation of the GC policy for events and membership services on a regional basis.
• To work closely with BCCS head office.
• To ensure the correct positioning and use of the BCCS brand on a regional level.
• To initiate and maintain regular communication with each other, the President, National Vice-President and the National Director to ensure consistency of approach and aligned understanding of activities.

Purpose

Purpose

To ensure that proper accounting records are kept, adequate monthly and yearly accounts are prepared on a timely basis, contracts, payments and other accounting transactions, including salaries and bonuses are properly authorised and the financial situation of the Chamber is under control.

• Signing cheques and bank transfers
• Annual Accounts and Report for AGM

Purpose

To advise the President, Board and Director on any legal issues that may arise in the day-to-day work of the Chamber.

Key Deliverables

• Advise the Director on legal decisions within the Chamber and vis-a-vis third parties.
• Review and modify or draft contracts and other legal documents
• Assist the President and Board on the Articles of Association (Estatutos) and their development.
• Advise on the protection of the Chamber's Intellectual Property and Copyright.
• Advise on the position to be taken in connection with Claims from third parties, or to be served against third parties.
• General advice on legal matters (with the exception of Labour and Tax issues)

Purpose

To represent the President, and sign documents on his/her behalf, in order to delegate some of the President’s bureaucratic responsibilities.

Key Deliverables

• Take minutes at GC meetings and, given his/her permission, to sign them on the President’s behalf.
• To authorize payments and other agreements on behalf of the President.
