British American Tobacco España is part of the Group British American Tobacco. In 2009, its gross turnover was 157,547,000 euros, being the company the fastest growing company amongst the four big players in the Spanish Tobacco sector, with a market share of circa 10 per cent.

From its headquarters located in Madrid, the company manages the Iberia cluster, which includes Spain Mainland, Canary Islands, Andorra, Gibraltar and Portugal.

British American Tobacco España has about 250 employees. In 2009, it was included in the Top Employers ranking of the international consulting company CRF, as one of the 30 best companies to work for in Spain.

Globally, British American Tobacco is the most international company in the world with brands sold in more than 180 markets, and employs more than 56,000 people around the world.
