MEMBERSHIP OF
THE BRITISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN SPAIN
CATEGORIES AND BENEFITS 2008
The British Chamber of Commerce in Spain has five categories of Membership:
- Sustaining Member
Large companies who wish to have maximum rights and exposure.
- National Member
Companies with 50 or more employees, and up to four offices.
- Smaller Company Member
Companies based in Spain with less than 50 employees.
- UK Member
Companies based in the UK.
- Individual Member
Individual professionals that seek to promote their services.
The services we provide vary according to which membership category is applicable to your company. However, every member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain is automatically entitled to a comprehensive range of general services.
GENERAL BENEFITS OF CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP
As a Chamber member:
- You will receive invitations to attend Chamber events.
- You will appear in the list of Chamber members, both alphabetically and by sector, in the online and printed versions of our annual Membership Directory.
- You will receive our weekly e-Newsletter, informing you of all the forthcoming Chamber events and be brought up-to-date with the latest Chamber news.
- Access will be given to the select special services offered by the 23 offices of the COBCOE (Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Continental Europe) network throughout Europe.
- You, your employees and immediate family will be entitled to a 25% discount on private healthcare through the Sanitas Collective.
- Any special offers or discounts offered by other Chamber members will be accessible to your company.
- The Chamber website and weekly e-Newsletter may be utilised to advertise your own special offers and promotions.
- You will be given the opportunity to organise events in collaboration with the Chamber.
- You will form part of our referral service, whereby information about your products or services will be supplied to any interested parties.
- You will be aided in brokering partnerships with other Chamber members.
CATEGORY-SPECIFIC BENEFITS:
Sustaining Member
Sustaining Members are companies that demonstrate their special support towards the Chamber.
As a Sustaining Member:
- Access to events with high profile government officials and key decision makers.
- Your company will be profiled on the Chamber website with a logo heading and 200-word explanatory text, and a list of up to 10 contact names and addresses. This list will also be published in the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory.
- You will receive maximum exposure on the Chamber website – 80% of our website displays the logos of the Sustaining Members on a rotating basis with a direct link to their website.
- You will receive a special mention on the Chamber website, in our annual Membership Directory and an automatic listing with a link to your mini-webpage on our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Be announced as a new Sustaining Member to all Chamber members and friends through a six-week listing in the “New Members” section of our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Receive invitations to restricted-access events, relevant to your company.
- Receive unlimited access to our online Careers Service, including posting of job offers and access to the details of prospective candidates.
- Be given the opportunity to have annual one-on-one meetings with the National Director of the Chamber to discuss the progress and future strategy of the Chamber.
- Be able to publish an unlimited number of Special Offers in the Chamber’s weekly e-Newsletter, each lasting up to 10 weeks.
- You will be promoted through the Chamber in both the national and international media.
- Be able to invite an unlimited number of employees from your company to Chamber events.
- Be given the opportunity to sponsor Chamber events.
National Member
As a National Member:
- Your company will be profiled on the Chamber website with a logo heading and 200-word explanatory text, and a list of up to four contact names and addresses. This list will also be published in the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory.
- Be announced as a new National Member to all Chamber members and friends through a five-week listing in the “New Members” section of our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Receive access to our online Careers Service, including free posting of job offers and access to the details of prospective candidates.
- Be able to publish up to four Special Offers per year in the Chamber’s weekly e-Newsletter, each lasting up to 10 weeks.
- Be able to invite an unlimited number of employees from your company to Chamber events.
- Be given the opportunity to sponsor Chamber events.
- You will be promoted through the Chamber in both local and regional media.
Smaller Company Member
As a Small Company Member:
- Your company will be profiled on the Chamber website with a logo heading and 200-word explanatory text, and list your principal contact name and addresses. This listing will also be published in the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory.
- Be announced as a new Smaller Company Member to all Chamber members and friends through a four-week listing in the “New Members” section of our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Receive access to our online Careers Service, including free posting of job offers and access to the details of prospective candidates.
- Be able to publish up to two Special Offers per year in the Chamber’s weekly e-Newsletter, each lasting up to 5 weeks.
- You will be promoted through the Chamber in the local media.
UK Member
As a UK Member:
- Receive a company mini-webpage within the Chamber website, where your company logo and a 200-word explanatory text will be displayed.
- Have the opportunity to list your principal contact name and address on your mini-webpage, which will also be published in the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory.
- Be announced as a new UK Member to all Chamber members and friends through a four-week listing in the “New Members” section of our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Receive access to our online Careers Service, including free posting of job offers and access to the details of prospective candidates.
- Be able to publish up to two Special Offers per year in the Chamber’s weekly e-Newsletter, each lasting up to 5 weeks.
- Form part of our referral service, whereby the Chamber will put you in contact with key Spanish companies with an interest in the UK.
Individual Member
As an Individual Member:
- You will be profiled on the Chamber website, with your name, sector, key contact details and a 200-word explanatory text.
- The details from your mini-webpage will also be published in the Chamber’s annual Membership Directory.
- Be announced as a new Individual Member to all Chamber members and friends through a four-week listing in the “New Members” section of our weekly e-Newsletter.
- Receive access to our online Careers Service, including free posting of your Curriculum Vitae and access to our current job offers.
